Hi, I’m Eneida, and I am so happy you’re here! Baking is a passion that is rooted in love and nostalgia which is why I’ve made it my career. I’ve been creating my delicious goodies since 2006, and I figured that it’s time to start my blog in addition to my little bake shop. I’ve spent almost two decades perfecting each one of my recipes because that’s what happens when I use the best local ingredients to inspire me.
My husband & I made a big move, and it’s time to start from square one. It’s a new era, and it’s so exciting to be able to share my gourmet desserts with a whole new city. Everyone wants to be friends with the woman who bakes the best desserts in the town, so watch out, hehe.
When I explained my idea for the Little Southern Bakes logo, I asked for something like combining hard edges with a soft cozy home motif. I adore celebrating southern roots. My new logo tells the world that I am a hardcore baker with a soft, gooey center.
I recently moved to Charleston, and I am in LOVE! I have a pug and a chihuahua, and besides my husband & kids, they are my whole world. Life doesn’t get much better than cookies and canines, right?
Before I started Little Southern Bakes, I was The Farm Baker in Miami. I baked all kinds of desserts which was great (and my family and friends were very happy about) Now it’s time to bake in superior dessert in Charleston, and here we are!
When you can focus on making one thing the most perfect, the absolute best it can be, something magical happens. I bake with love and you can taste it in every bite. I pack so much freaking love into every dessert that they are practically bursting with sunshine. Who doesn’t want a mouthful of sunshine? Baking for my loved ones and now you guys is how I share pieces of my heart. I buy from local farmers when I can because supporting my community is very important to me. I plan on conquering happiness with one dessert at a time, and I hope you’ll join me!
